Its technology focuses on analyzing image and video streams at scale, within highly constrained and sensitive environments, with strong requirements around performance, reliability, and data sovereignty.
The team currently consists of ~20 people and is scaling rapidly.
Role
Looking for a Lead Software Engineer to drive technical excellence and build products that turn AI video analysis into operational tools:
- Lead the design and development of fullstack features for real-time video monitoring and investigation platforms (React / FastAPI)
- Drive the creation of intuitive interfaces for complex workflows (video playback, geospatial map views, live events)
- Develop and architect backend services to ingest and serve edge pipeline data (PostgreSQL, vector search, MQTT)
- Ensure performance, reliability, and security for constrained, air-gapped, on-premise environments
- Mentor team members, promote best practices, and collaborate closely with ML engineers to seamlessly integrate AI models into user experiences
Profil recherché
- Master or Engineer Degree
- 5+ years of experience in fullstack development, with a track record of leading technical initiatives and shipping production-grade web applications
- Ability to guide architectural choices, mentor engineers, and maintain high standards of code quality
- Backend expertise in Python (FastAPI or equivalent async frameworks)
- Frontend expertise in React and TypeScript
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL at scale (schema design, query performance)
- Pragmatic approach to system design, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures
