JOB OVERVIEW:

As our Insurance Distribution & Operations Manager, you will play a dual role at the heart of Free2move's growth engine. Reporting directly to the Head of Insurance, your mission is to transform insurance from a mandatory requirement into a powerful lever for profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will be the bridge between our global insurance strategy and its daily execution across our markets. On one side, you will act as a Business Optimizer, boosting the distribution of insurance options (excess reduction, protection plans) across our Carsharing and Rent services. On the other hand, you will be the Operational Backbone, ensuring the seamless management of our fleet insurance, billing accuracy, and claims performance.

This is a high-impact role for a proactive professional who enjoys the mix of strategic business development and rigorous operational management in a fast-paced, tech-driven mobility environment.

More specifically, you will be responsible for :

- Product Management: Support the design, roll-out, and daily maintenance of insurance products across our markets to ensure local relevance and operational efficiency.
- Claims Management Oversight: Monitor and understand the claims lifecycle to ensure alignment between product terms and operational reality.
- Specialized Portfolio Management: Manage specific insurance lines including Civil Liability (RC), Motor insurance, and Rental-specific coverages.
- Revenue Growth: Drive the take-up rate of insurance options (CDW, Excess Reduction, PAI) across all business lines.
- Dealer Distribution: Coordinate the distribution of insurance products through the dealer network, ensuring partners have the necessary tools and product knowledge.
- Analytical Reporting: Analyze portfolio performance, identify trends or gaps, and propose data-driven solutions to improve profitability or customer satisfaction.
- Compliance & Process Improvement: Ensure all products meet regional regulatory standards and continuously suggest ways to streamline insurance processes.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor the profitability of insurance products and propose pricing or packaging adjustments to maximize margins.

The profile we're looking for :

- Education: Master's Degree in Insurance, business or law is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in the auto insurance industry. A profile with at least 2 years of solid technical experience is mandatory if the educational background is in a related field.
- Geographic Exposure: Previous experience or knowledge of European insurance markets/regulations a real plus
- Languages: Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is essential for daily collaboration with international stakeholders.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Civil Liability and Motor insurance mechanics. `

SOFT SKILLS (BEHAVIORAL REQUIREMENTS):

- Analytical Mindset: Ability to digest complex data and transform it into actionable business solutions.
- Self-Starter: High personal accountability and the ability to drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
- Dynamic & Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing international environment.
- Results-Oriented: Focused on meeting objectives and improving product performance.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with dealers and internal departments.
- Pressure Management: Flexible and able to work under deadlines and various time zones (EU/USA).

HARD SKILLS :

- Software Proficiency: Excellent computer proficiency with MS Office (specifically Excel for data analysis) and Google Suite.
- Contractual Knowledge: Ability to draft and review insurance policy wording and deductible buy-back terms.

Independent Project Management: Ability to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of international insurance regulations.
