PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The PR & Events Communications drives the creation and global rollout of innovative and impactful PR campaigns that elevate brand visibility and consistency across markets, as well as internal communication within the brand organization and the Group to provide internal visibility and foster engagement while supporting change management.

The role will initially focus on Havana Club as a key priority brand, while being designed to support additional strategic brands within the portfolio over time.

YOUR KEY MISSIONS ARE:

EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS (70%)

Build and nurture an international PR network, collaborate closely with agencies and the PR & Events CoE to develop strategic PR assets and guidelines and ensure performance through KPI-driven assessments, while supporting strategic brand initiatives and coordinating budgets.

Contribute & deliver creative & impactful global PR campaigns

- Participate in the conception and execution of global PR strategies that enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Ensure campaigns are innovative, aligned with brand values, and deliver measurable results across key markets.

Act as a member of the Pernod Ricard Communication community (PR & Events CoE)

- Ensure PR & Events CoE guidelines & tools are incorporated in the brand communication strategy and initiatives
- As an extended member of PR & Events CoE, ensure that brand-specific requirements are captured within the CoE framework

Build and maintain international PR network

- Develop and nurture strong relationships with international media, influencers, journalists, and key opinion leaders to maximize brand coverage and storytelling opportunities worldwide.

Collaborate closely with PR & Events agencies

- Work hand-in-hand with external agencies to align on creative concepts, event activations, press materials, and timelines, ensuring consistent messaging and flawless execution across all initiatives.

Develop innovative & relevant PR tools/assets

- Create and adapt press kits, media releases, digital assets, storytelling content, and visual materials tailored to different markets and audiences to support global communication goals.

Lead guidelines creation and markets rollout to ensure consistency

- Define and implement global PR guidelines, toolkits, and best practices, ensuring coherent brand representation and message alignment across all local markets and teams.

Assess each campaign following KPIs

- Monitor, analyze, and report campaign performance based on defined KPIs (media coverage, engagement, ROI, sentiment, etc.) to identify successes, learnings, and areas for improvement.

Support Manager on key strategic brands

- Partner the Manager in developing and executing brand communication strategies, contributing creative ideas and ensuring timely coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Budget coordination

- Support in managing PR/events budgets, including tracking expenses, optimizing allocations, and ensuring accurate reporting to maintain financial efficiency and transparency.

International Spirits Awards

- Manage the International Spirits Awards strategy for the brand and all related communications

Digital Communications

- Digital: Manage brand LinkedIn account(s), such as Havana Club to reflect the comms strategy
- Finalize the launch of Havana Club Brand Home's new website (Museo del Ron HC) and support the Global Communication Strategy of the Museo del Ron.

INTERNAL COMMUNICATION (30%)

Foster a cohesive mindset across brand and regional teams while supporting change management and develop brand and corporate internal communication strategies to provide internal visibility and foster engagement around the brand within the Group at all levels (HQ, Crystal Brand Unit, Management Entities). A specific focus would be on HCI (Havana Club International) and HC (Havana Club) teams (across offices) to support change management and develop brand (Havana Club) and corporate (HCI) internal communication strategies.

- Accompany the Group's new organization context with clear and transparent communication, fostering trust and adaptability among teams. Support change management through consistent (but flexible) and empathetic messaging.
- Proactively provide visibility to the brand and its organization within the Group structure ensuring internal pride and alignment.
- Continue strengthening onboarding and key resources, employee engagement, and internal events while adapting formats to budget and organizational constraints.
- Keep building strong and permanent relationships and communications flows across all relevant offices and teams to ensure same level of information, facilitate collaboration and foster internal reach and engagement.
- Proactively coordinate with local teams in Cuba to foster a cohesive mindset and organize communication streams behind specific initiatives

Experience

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in PR, communications, or event management
- Experience both in agency and in-house (brand/advertiser side) strongly preferred
- Background in spirits, lifestyle, luxury, or premium FMCG is a plus
- Solid understanding of on-trade / hospitality media landscape

Key Skills

- Strong expertise in international PR and media relations
- Proven ability to develop creative, impactful campaigns

- Fluency in English is required
