Context :
Tessan is a fast-growing French healthtech startup on a mission to tackle medical deserts by making healthcare accessible within 15 minutes for everyone.
We have deployed over 1,600 telemedicine devices across France in less than 6 years and are continuing to expand.
As part of this growth, we are launching our activity in the United State, a strategic and complex market. This expansion is currently led from France, and requires adapting our medical model to a new healthcare system.
You will play a key role in making our solution relevant, compliant, and credible in the US.
Requirements:
What you'll actually do :
1. Adapt our medical model to the US market
- Analyze the US healthcare system (patient journey, role of pharmacies, regulatory environment)
- Identify key differences with the French model and their operational impact
- Help adapt patient pathways and usage protocols
- Contribute to making our solution medically relevant for US partners
2. Support early deployments with a healthcare perspective
- Work with the team on the launch of first US partners
- Bring a medical lens to operational decisions
- Help structure processes related to medical usage (consultation, follow-up, etc.)
- Support the team in resolving healthcare-related questions and issues
3. Build strong healthcare knowledge & insights
- Monitor US regulations (telemedicine, compliance, healthcare practices)
- Benchmark competitors and market standards
- Identify risks, constraints, and opportunities for Tessan in the US
- Contribute to strategic discussions on our medical positioning
Practical details :
- Location: Paris (US market operated remotely)
- Contract: 6-month internship
- Start date: Summer 2026 / ASAP
Your ideal profile :
Education:
Student in healthcare / pharmacy / medicine / health-related field (or dual background: health + business)
Skills:
- Strong understanding or interest in healthcare systems
- Strong level of English (mandatory - US market)
- Analytical and structured mindset
- Ability to synthesize complex information
