BALMAIN is a French luxury fashion house founded in 1945 by Pierre Balmain, the visionary behind the iconic New French Style. The Maison's collections span women's and men's ready-to-wear, accessories, Balmain Beauty, inspired by its legendary mid-20th century fragrances, and signature eyewear, all reflecting the Maison's distinctive identity.Reporting to the President Americas and Global Wholesale Director, the Showroom Manager oversees all activities related to showrooms, fittings, shootings, and events.

Main Purpose
The Showroom Manager is responsible for the overall performance, organization, and operational excellence of the Maison's showrooms. He/She defines, coordinates, and supervises all operations to ensure a flawless experience aligned with the brand's standards of excellence and image.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Management of Showrooms and Events
Define and oversee the overall planning of showrooms (Women & Men), fittings, shootings (e-commerce, Business Units), events (school visits, internal workshops), and prototype sales
Ensure consistency, quality, and performance across all activities
Guarantee adherence to budgets, timelines, and excellence standards
Implement continuous improvement processes

2. Operational Organization and Supervision
Oversee all logistical, technical, and aesthetic aspects
Approve schedules for external vendors (security, catering, cleaning, florists, etc.)
Ensure high-quality setup and impeccable maintenance of spaces
Manage inventory and material resources
Ensure all installations comply with brand image guidelines
Manage collaborators and visitor flows, access control and on-site operations to ensure security, comfort and efficiency during peak periods and all year long.
Organization of castings and the selection of showroom models, in close collaboration with the studio.

3. Team Management and Coordination
Supervise showroom teams (including temporary staff)
Define staffing needs and validate workforce setup (temporary staff, freelancers, interns)
Ensure team training and development
Manage schedules and optimize resource allocation
Foster a culture of excellence and service
WW coordination of Fashion Week events, such as runway shows and client activations

4. Cross-functional Coordination and Communication
Act as the main point of contact for internal departments (Studios, Merchandising, HR, Digital, VM, Sales, Communication, etc.)
Ensure smooth communication and project coordination
Own and manage the global showroom and market calendars
Set priorities and manage operational constraints

5. External Relations Management
Select, manage, and evaluate vendors and suppliers
Negotiate contractual terms
Ensure service levels meet the Maison's standards

6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Define and track KPIs (quality, costs, timelines, internal satisfaction)
Provide regular reporting to management
Identify optimization opportunities and implement action plans

Le profil recherché

Proven experience (5 to 8 years minimum) in showroom or event management, ideally in the luxury industry
Strong strategic mindset combined with hands-on operational capabilities
Leadership and strong sense of accountability
High level of rigor and attention to detail
Strong service orientation and commitment to excellence
Diplomacy and excellent interpersonal skills
High adaptability
Fluent English required
Proficiency in management and planning tools
