Valeo is an automotive supplier and partner to automakers worldwide. Valeo's Site located in Paris, 17th arrondissement (320 employees) is the Group's Headquarters. It houses the general management of the Group's transversal functions.
We are looking for a Group Segment Leader.
Your responsibilities:
- As part of a central team, you will participate to the definition of the purchasing strategy for the IT segment, working closely with the Group IT Department. You will communicate this strategy to your country correspondents and ensure that it is properly implemented.
- You will initiate all your global tenders, ensuring that all the needs of the various countries or specifiers are taken into account, and will be responsible for governance throughout the purchasing process, right up to the implementation of the negotiations you have conducted.
- You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the purchasing processes and supplier panel that you have defined in collaboration with your internal stakeholders, in accordance with Valeo's standards and procedures.
- You prepare the annual budget for your scope.
- You monitor your actions and your suppliers using a number of indicators to measure and optimize the results of the policy deployed.
- You monitor developments in the market and solutions in your segments and markets.
About you:
- You have a Master's degree in Purchasing.
- You are at least 3 years experienced as a Buyer in the IT/Telecom sector, in an international context.
- You have negotiating skills and have developed a customer and results-oriented approach.
- You are fluent in French and English.
