Purpose of the Job

Definition and implementation of Sourcing strategy for Engineering Software
Manage global supplier panel relationship for Engineering Software
Responsible for commodity maturity development with efficient sourcing and purchasing measures leveraging Alstom's procurement tools
Operational procurement responsibility on negotiation
Animate Saving Plan and continuous improvement of total cost of ownership for spend within commodity

Main responsibilities

Support commodity management

Represent Engineering Software commodity
Consolidate commodity needs and sourcing demands
Build and propose differentiation for AT through supplier innovation
Participate actively to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
Participate to Make or Buy decision process when relevant
Define a strategy for specific segment according to delegation
Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
Apply the Alstom Procurement process and provide return on experience.
Is involved on operational tasks

Monitor Buyer activity on specific segment

Has an operational procurement responsibility on negotiation
Lead Saving Plan by leveraging Design to Cost, Volume bundling, Global contracts, best cost country solutions and panel reduction
