About the role
Vestiaire Collective seeks a detail-oriented General Accountant to join our Finance team. This role will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards in a fast-paced, international e-commerce environment.
What you will do- Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, intercompany accounts
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and support the monthly closing process.
- Assist with VAT/sales tax calculations and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and management reports to liaise with local tax provider.
- Communication with different interlocutors linked to financial topic.
- Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve controls.

Who you are

- Accounting license or bachelor's degree2-5 years of working experience in tax accounting fields.
- Good understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting standards.
- Good interpersonal skills, and able to communicate to stakeholders confidently.
- Motivated to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Great knowledge of French and good communication in English.
