RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the Brand Cluster Lead, the Senior Director 360 Experience is the strategic owner of the entire consumer journey for the cluster's brands within Coty's Prestige division.
The Senior Director defines, orchestrates, and implements the global communication strategy, visual merchandising, in-store design, and retail training. The goal is to make every touchpoint - physical or digital - a lever for brand enhancement, sales activation, and an elevated customer experience.
As a strategic partner to the Brand Cluster Lead, Global Marketing, and Retail Experience teams, the role aligns brand storytelling, in-store excellence, and field capability development to ensure sustainable growth across all markets.
Your main focus:
Strategic Leadership & Brand Cluster Governance
- Act as a thought partner to the Brand Cluster Lead and Executive Committee members on omnichannel experience strategy, merchandising, and retail capability development.
- Translate brand positioning into a coherent three-year roadmap for the consumer journey, balancing global consistency with local adaptation.
Omnichannel Communication & Content
- Lead a global team dedicated to 360° communication (advocacy, PR, influence, digital, social media, content, clienteling) to design data-driven earned, owned, and paid media strategies.
- Ensure seamless coordination with Trade, Media, eCommerce, and Regional teams to maximize ROAS, EMV, and conversion.
Merchandising & In-Store Excellence
- Define the visual merchandising and in-store design strategy for corners, standalone boutiques, and retailtainment activations.
- Oversee the development of permanent, semi-permanent, and temporary POS materials; from design to implementation; ensuring sustainability and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with fashion houses / license holders, design agencies, and MMS to guarantee high-quality, on-brand creative execution.
- Manage shelf planning, assortment segmentation, signage, and soft merchandising solutions to maximize productivity per square meter.
Retail Training & Customer Experience
- Define the global retail training strategy covering sales techniques, premium customer service, omnichannel clienteling, and digital skills (live streaming, CRM, etc.).
- Lead the global Education community; define KPIs, design training programs, and measure impact on conversion, UPT, and customer retention.
- Co-develop a Retail Signature playbook with the Retail Excellence & Client Engagement teams and ensure flawless implementation across all points of sale.
Performance Analysis & Business Impact
- Define global KPIs (EMV, Brand Love, sell-out, stock rotation, tester performance, training completion rate) and translate insights into optimization plans.
- Monitor operational costs and identify structural savings through modular approaches, procurement synergies, and digital training solutions.
Organizational Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing organization combining expertise in communication, merchandising, and retail training across brands and regions.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with Global Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Retail Experience, Digital, Finance, and local market teams.
- Manage agency networks, licenses, and budgets in alignment with the cluster's financial objectives.
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You like to inspire leadership, develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders. Bring strategic vision with demonstrable impact on sell-out, productivity, and customer service; and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you:
- Have over 15+ years of experience in omnichannel communication, visual merchandising, and/or retail training, ideally within luxury beauty or premium consumer goods.
- Proven track record of managing multiple brands within complex, international matrix organizations.
- Deep expertise in earned-owned-paid media, advocacy, CRM, content creation, in-store design, POS production, and retail training.
