Ingenieur Survey Senior H/F - 75

We are seeking an experienced / senior PROJECT SURVEYOR, specialized in Survey and Positioning activities, to perform the services detailed in this specification.

PROFILE

The position requires a qualified engineer or design office professional with solid experience in offshore survey, positioning, and related operations.
Education:

- Engineering degree (Master's level or equivalent) in Geomatics, Hydrography, Geodesy, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Additional training in Offshore Survey or Positioning Systems would be an advantage.

Experience:

- Experienced to Senior level, with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in similar functions, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.

Mandatory Certifications:

- Valid BOSIET (OPITO) + CAEBS
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate

Software Skills:

- Good command of standard survey and positioning software (e.g., Qinsy, Eiva, Hypack, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Languages:

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken

RESPONSIBILITIES

The services shall be carried out independently, under the supervision of the Project Manager, and in coordination with other technical disciplines.
Main duties include (non-exhaustive list):

- Assist the installation engineering team in preparing procedures for internalized services.
- Draft technical specifications and requisitions for subcontracted scopes.
- Support the project team in the preparation, coordination, and execution of offshore operations.
- Ensure that all survey and positioning activities comply with applicable standards and project requirements.
- Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement processes.

SKILLS

Technical Skills:

- Strong expertise in hydrographic and geodetic survey techniques.
- Solid knowledge of offshore positioning systems.
- Good understanding of Oil & Gas industry standards and practices.
