We are seeking an experienced INSTALLATION AIDS DESIGNER / DRAFTSMAN to support Subsea Projects.
The selected candidate will perform the services described in this specification as part of the engineering design office team.
PROFILE
The ideal candidate is a design office engineer or designer with proven experience and the following qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design within the Oil & Gas industry, ideally on Subsea Deepwater projects.
Software proficiency:
Proficient with Autodesk Inventor and Vault,
or equivalent experience with SolidWorks + Vault.
Education:
Technical degree or engineering diploma in mechanical design, industrial design, or equivalent field.
MISSION
The work shall be carried out independently, under the supervision of the Project Lead, and in close coordination with other disciplines.
Main tasks include (non-exhaustive list):
Carry out 3D modelling and detailed design of installation aids for subsea projects within the KAMINHO scope.
Produce detailed fabrication drawings and assembly drawings according to project standards.
Ensure the technical quality and accuracy of design deliverables.
Collaborate with engineers and other departments to ensure consistency of design with project requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Technical competencies:
Proficiency in Inventor or equivalent 3D CAD software (SolidWorks + Vault).
Good understanding of structural design and subsea installation methods (knowledge of installation methods is a plus).
Strong ability to interpret and produce technical drawings and 3D models.
Soft skills:
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively.
