As an integral part of the Portfolio Management department, the IT-Middle Office team is responsible for developing the Position-Keeping system, which centralizes all positions, trades, and performance data for CFM.

The Position-Keeping system is crucial to CFM's daily operations, serving as both the input for portfolio construction process and the output for trading activities. The team also manages all processes directly related to the Position-Keeping system, including :
- Trade allocation
- Trade life-cycle events (such as option expiries and corporate actions)
- Trading costs
- Performance calculation

Your responsibilities :

Constantly seeking improvement, our team also faces technical challenges that require evolving our applications (reducing technical debt and industrializing manual processes).

In this evolutionary pursuit, we have embarked on a significant development of the front-end components of our system. This includes creating new screens to deliver new features and enhance screen ergonomics, thereby facilitating the work of all involved teams.

Working closely with experienced developers, the internship will focus on developing new screens while ensuring the code's reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

These screens will BE crafted using the Angular framework and will interact with the back-end, developed in Python, via REST APIs.

Skills :

Currently in your final year in an engineering school with a major in computer science (such as ENSIMAG, INSA, EPITA, EFREI,...).

Strong kills in front-end programming, including JavaScript, Angular,...).

Knowledge of backend development, including concepts and languages like Python and SQL.

Enthusiastic about the trading sector and its functional aspects.

Ability to thrive in a demanding and fast-paced production environment.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
