Head Of Grocery Partnerships Uber Grocery & Retail - France H/F - 75

About the Role

Within our Grocery & Retail division, you'll be responsible for our grocery high growth potential accounts.

You'll manage an Account Management team for your key existing partners, and you'll participate in the sales strategy of net new large grocery accounts. You will define and execute your portfolio strategy to maximize growth and long term financial sustainability. You will be directly reporting to the General Manager and as part of the French leadership team, you will contribute to decision making for the whole division.

The scope includes all large grocery accounts that are not live in our marketplace or scaled yet (75% of the offline retail market), mostly with a decentralized/independent stores model and, therefore, more complex to deploy than our existing mature partners.

What You Will Do

- Define the selection strategy of the unscaled key grocery accounts in France
- Build relationship with key partners on all steps of their lifecycle
- Lead complex partnership management and key deals renegotiations
- Build a strong performing team, through recruitment, coaching and developing a culture of excellence.
- Conceive, design and lead innovative growth initiatives with our strategic grocery partners and drive through to completion, working cross functionally with Uber's internal teams and our partners

What You Will Need
- 8+ year(s) experience in the Marketplace space, in Strategy Consulting, Account management or other relevant experience
- Expertise and/or appetite for Commercial / Sales / Partner-facing
- Strong business acumen and a data driven mindset
- Strong stakeholder and team management skill set and experience
- Excellent communication skills, both in written and oral formats, for both internal and external audiences
- Process orientation to drive scalable solutions and strong ops mindset
- Fluent/Native in French
- Background in Grocery & Retail is a plus
- Combined past experience in consulting/finance/banking/ops as well as a commercial role is a plus
